Climbing in Pădurea Craiului

Crișului Repede Gorge is a place with a tradition in climbing. In addition, new climbing areas, with routes for all tastes (including children or beginners) were opened in Vârciorog, on Valea Poienii in the area of ​​Osoi cave and in Roșia, in Cheile Lazurilor.

In the gorge of Crișul Repede, on the vertical walls, shaped in limestone by waters and time, generations of climbers were formed. While the passion for these sports was gaining momentum in Romania, daring people eager to learn the secrets of rock climbing came here from Cluj, from Oradea and from other destinations.

Dozens of mountaineering and climbing routes, of different lengths and with varying degrees of difficulty, have been arranged between Șuncuiuș and Vadu Crișului. From beginners to the most experienced climbers, everyone finds a wall here according to their strength and agility. For them, this may be the place where, indeed, the adventure never ends.
