Crisului Repede Gorge, tourism with ... ``everything for everyone``
Crișului Repede Valley is the area with the highest density of hiking trails in Pădurea Craiului. The area offers nature lovers almost everything they could want: long routes that test your endurance, or shorter but more challenging ones that often test the courage of those who love the mountain.
Some call it “the cradle of Bihor tourism”. From here, more than 100 years ago, under the guidance of Czaran Gyula, began the adventure of discovering the Pădurea Craiului mountains. In and around the Crișului Repede Gorge, hikers can follow several historical routes, in the purest sense of the word. Diverse in terms of their difficulty, the trails in the gorge take mountain lovers to some of the most beautiful sights of Padurea Craiului: caves, viewpoints, places full of history and traditions, unforgettable waterfalls and karst landscapes. In addition, here are several thematic trails, dozens of climbing routes, via ferrata routes and places well known to those who love rafting. All these and many other attractions make the Crisului Repede Gorge area a very attractive one for mountaineers, in any season.
