Cave description
Moanei Cave is said to be a real labyrinth carved by limestone waters. If the effort to get here will not make it, the beauty of the two underground waterfalls will surely take your breath away.
Moanei Cave is located in the Defileul Crișului Repede – Pădurea Craiului Natura 2000 Site, on the administrative territory of Șuncuiuș commune, Bihor county, on the right slope of Mişidului Gorge. It is a relatively small cave, which offers optimal conditions for the hibernation of at least 8 species of bats.
“A relatively light cave, easily accessible. It has two waterfalls, three and four meters high, respectively, which are very beautiful. In my opinion, these are the most special tourist attractions in this cave. Worth seeing! The permanent fall of the water urges the tourist who came here to meditate “.
