Brătcuței Valley is the ideal place for a hike with the family, on foot or by bike, regardless of the age of the group members or the season. It is a picturesque valley, surrounded by forests and small orchards, which climbs to the heart of the Pădurea Craiului mountains. The road, only partially modernized, passes chic holiday homes, springs and hayfields. In spring and summer, the surrounding meadows are full of flowers.
From the end of the valley, hiking enthusiasts can reach the picturesque village of Ponoare.
The “Hanul Brătcuței” pension, the “Valea Brătcuței” chalet, the school camp building and some villas in the area, offer various accommodation possibilities.
The T8 “Enduro Track” cycle route crosses for a part of it the Brătcuța valley.
