Described as “the most impressive gorges in the Paudrea Craiului mountains”, the Lazuri valley gorges host the ideal route for a family hike, in the middle of the wild nature. Vertical walls, dense forests, clear and fast waters, mysterious cave entrances, crossings and winding paths are just some of the ingredients of a pleasant hike, accessible to those who are not afraid to wet their feet.
On a length of 5 kilometers, the Lazuri valley is very narrow and has walls whose heights are between 100 and 250 meters high. From place to place you can see bare cliffs and rock pyramids. On the downstream sector of the gorges, the valley narrows even more, its slopes becoming vertical.
Along the way, tourists can admire a waterfall, as small as it is beautiful and the imposing entrance to the Red Cave. Not far from here is the entrance to the White Cave.
