Perched on a hilltop where the view can include the gentle peaks of the Apuseni or the entire depression of Beiuș, the traditional hamlet of Runcuri is a place where due to the initiative of lovers of traditions and nature, time seems to be stopped.
Traditional houses, some still covered with straw, rescued from the villages of Pădurea Craiului are waiting for tourists eager to discover life in the country in its most authentic expression. The unique interior design restores to the guests the joy of a simple life, away from the daily tumult.
The meal is like at the mother’s house, the surroundings offer hikers routes that are worth walking, and at night, the panorama of the Beiuş depression is unforgettable. In addition, the Crystal Cave from the Farcu mine is also a tourist attraction within reach of those who decide to linger here.
Although it has only a few houses, scattered on the hills covered with meadows full of flowers and deciduous forests, the hamlet of Runcuri is the place where you can live a few days detached as if from the grandparents’ stories.
The T9 cycling route “Valea Roșiei in pictures” has among its attractions the hamlet of Runcuri.
