Medical Services Provided
The walk-in medical centres offer the following services:
- Medical assistance for acute conditions and minor emergencies, within the competence of a GP (General Practitioner).
- Referral to specialist care or hospital admission for cases beyond the GP’s expertise.
- Administration of emergency medication from the medical centre’s emergency kit or, where applicable, from the GP surgery providing the out-of-hours service.
- Issuance of a medical note for the patient to present to their GP the next day for a prescription. On weekends and public holidays, essential emergency medication will be provided to cover the period until the patient can see their GP.
Important to Note Medical services are available to everyone, regardless of their health insurance status.
